The image above isnโt decoration. Four runners at the starting line, three of them already behind before the gun goes off. That picture is the argument. You could read the words alone and follow the logic. But watch the gap between where each runner stands, and the argument stops being an idea and becomes something you can see happening in real time.
A quick note, since this is new. Most of what comes through here has been words on a page, or a voice you could carry with you while you did something else. This is different, and it will be different again for a few pieces going forward. Some arguments live in language. Some live in a picture, a distance, a gap you have to watch to actually understand.
